Individual tournament for women and men with additional team scoring (2 players per company). All participants will compete on 2 days with 2 rounds per day (18 holes).
Footballs will be provided by the organiser, but you may also use your own balls (size 5). The official rules of Soccerpark Salzburg (www.soccerpark.at) apply.
When teeing off, the ball must be touching the green mat and must be behind or on the white line! Please take note of the descriptions and instructions on the information boards for every hole!
SPECIAL RULE for the 18th hole: The maximum number of kicks here is 6 – otherwise 7 is noted on the scorecard!
Par – maximum no. of kicks – penalty points
On par 3, the maximum number of kicks is 9, otherwise 12 is noted
On par 4, the maximum number of kicks is 12, otherwise 16 is noted
On par 5, the maximum number of kicks is 15, otherwise 20 is noted
On par 6, the maximum number of kicks is 18, otherwise 24 is noted
4. Parts of the course:
a) the rough – the high grass to the right and left of the fairways, outside the mowed section – you must continue playing from here
b) the fairway – the mowed area and the optimal line of play
c) out-of-bounds (beyond the rough) – area with short grass belonging to the neighbouring fairway
If the ball touches a different fairway, the player receives a penalty of +1 kick and must continue playing from the previous spot from which he/she shot the ball out of bounds.
5. The hazards must be played in the direction of the arrows, as shown on the information boards for the holes.
6. One foot must always be touching the ground. Clamping (jumping up with the ball) is not permitted.
The 4 rounds played are added up; prizes are awarded for the 1st to 3rd places in the women’s and men’s tournaments. In the team tournaments, prizes are also awarded for the 1st to 3rd places.
Please ensure that you leave yourself enough time to get from your accommodation to the sport venue. In addition to public transport, you are welcome to make use of our two special bus lines: ECSG Linie Rif (R) and ECSG Linie Wals (W). Special shuttle buses (leaving from the Messezentrum) are also available for participants in our golf and cycling competitions. Each person participates in the European Company Sport Games 2019 in Salzburg at their own risk.
Each participant is responsible for ensuring that they have appropriate accident insurance coverage.
