Schedules and results:
All registered teams will play a first and second round in groups of 3 and 4 (round-robin). After that, the best-ranked teams from the second round will compete in a final round; the other teams will play placement matches. The teams not playing at the time will provide the referees (one scorer and one referee); the finals will be overseen by referees from the Salzburg Volleyball Association (SVV).
In principle, the rules of the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) apply. Each match will be the best of 3 sets to 15 points (2-point lead). The interval between the sets will be no longer than 3 minutes. The teams are requested to report to the tournament director 30 minutes before their first match is set to begin. Mikasa VLS 300 balls with the ÖVV seal of quality will be used.
The scoring within the group follows the points system (win 2 points; loss 0 points). In the event of a draw between two teams, the deciding factor is first the better set ratio, then the better point ratio.
Please ensure that you leave yourself enough time to get from your accommodation to the sport venue.
